Beta Nicotinamide Mononucleotide is a synthetic substrate for Coenzyme I. Also NMN has been used in anti-ageing studies. Beta Nicotinamide Mononucleotide A product of the extracellular nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (eNAMPT) reaction and a key NAD+ intermediate. It improves glucose tolerance by restoring NAD+ levels in HFD-induced T2D mice. It also enhances hepatic insulin sensitivity and restores gene expression associated with oxidative stress, inflammatory responses and circadian rhythms, in part through SIRT1 activation.
