Procuct Introduction of API Powder
Cytosine, the main component of cell membrane phospholipids, is a complex organic molecule consisting of ribose, pyrophosphate, cytosine and choline. Cytosine is water soluble and its oral bioavailability is greater than 90%. Cytosine has no mitogenic or chemotactic effect on hCMEC/D3. However, it significantly enhances the chemical book of wound healing, globule germination and strongly induces the formation of endothelial tubular structures in the basement membrane stroma. Cytocholine induces the expression of phosphorylated ERK1/2. It protects hCMEC/D3 from cell damage/apoptosis. Cytidine phosphorylcholine induces angiogenesis and enhances the survival of human brain microvascular endothelial cells via p-ERK1/2 and IRS-1 related pathways.
Bioactivity of API Powder
Citicoline (CDP-choline) is an essential intermediate in the synthesis of lecithin, the main phospholipid of cell membranes. It increases plasma adrenocorticotropic hormone levels and enhances serum thyrotropin levels.
