Chemical formula of Diclofenac sodium is C14H10Cl2NNaO2, molecular weight is 318.13, belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, has obvious analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. The drug produces analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandin. Therefore, it is one of the typical anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, which is often used in the treatment of all kinds of mild to moderate acute and chronic pain in the department of orthopedics, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.

1. Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which has obvious analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. Through inhibiting the cyclooxygenase and blocking the synthesis of prostaglandin and produce analgesia, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effect.

Usage and dosage of Product

1. As a general recommendation, the dosage of diclofenac sodium should be adjusted for different individuals, and the minimum effective dose should be given at the shortest possible time interval. Tablets to be swallowed whole, given with liquid, not divisible or chewed; Fit to be served with food.

2. Diclofenac sodium for adults as a routine, the initial daily dose is 100~150mg. For mild cases requiring long-term treatment, the daily dose is 75 to 100mg and is usually given in two to three doses per day. To reduce nighttime pain and morning stiffness, tablets should be used during the day and suppositories should be used as an adjuvant before bedtime (up to 150mg daily).
For primary dysmenorrhea, the dose should be adjusted individually on a daily basis, usually 50~150mg, divided into several doses. The initial dose should be 50 to 100mg, and may be increased to a maximum of 200mg daily over several menstrual cycles if necessary. Treatment begins as soon as symptoms appear and continues for several days, depending on the symptoms.

3. Children and adolescents
For children or adolescents 1 years of age or older, the daily dose is 0.5 to 2mg/kg, divided into 2 to 3 doses, depending on the condition. For juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the daily dose is up to 150mg. Due to the large dosage of 50mg and 75mg enteric-coated tablets, it is not suitable for children under the age of 14 and adolescents, but diclofenac sodium of 25mg can be used. This product should not be used on infants under 1 years of age.
