Product Description
DCI D Inositol PCOS Nutritional Food Additive Powder
Product Introduction
D Inositol, also known as D Chiro Inositol DCI, is chemically divided into levorotatory and dextrorotatory, with levorotatory being L and dextrorotatory being D. It acts as a second messenger for insulin and is found not only in carob, but also in our body's insulin target organs such as fat, muscle and liver. This shows the close relationship between DCI and insulin. As early as 1999, DCI was found to improve insulin resistance, increase ovulation rates and improve blood lipids in women with PCOS.
Product Function as Insulin Sensitiser
D Inositol DCI is primarily an insulin sensitiser, i.e. it improves insulin sensitivity and improves insulin resistance at its source. The advantages of DCI over metformin are that it does not cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting, it is more effective, it is healthier and safer and it achieves similar effects to metformin.

Advantages of D Chiro Inositol for PCOS
Patients with PCOS have an increased chance of developing insulin resistance as their BMI rises, but studies have shown that insulin resistance is not only found in obese polycystic, but also in 75%-83% of lean polycystic patients, and the screening for insulin resistance should not be underestimated in lean polycystic patients.
DCI D Inositol is a small molecule that is important in insulin signaling (this is a chemical signal chain that tells our body how to process sugar). These small molecules are often referred to as secondary messengers. Muscle inositol and chiral inositol DCI are different molecules, belonging to two different signalling cascades that regulate different biological processes.DCI itself is a carbohydrate and its deficiency makes it difficult for us to metabolise sugar properly (sugar is energy). DCI is not abundant in our diet. So our body needs to make DCI. if our PCOS body cannot efficiently convert muscle inositol MYO and d-pinitol, the whole chemical signalling chain breaks down and leads to high blood sugar, high insulin levels and high androgen levels. These can lead to type II diabetes, PCOS, endometrial hyperplasia and other diseases.
Will Inositol put a burden on the kidneys?
Dci D Inositol and other inositol not only do not burden the kidneys, they also protect our liver.
The liver and kidneys metabolise substances all the time and as long as inositol is replenished within reasonable limits, it will not deplete the liver and kidneys any faster than drinking water, but if you take several hundred grams of inositol a day, there must be something wrong, just as drinking too much water can be water poisoning.
On the other hand, myo-inositol is synthesised daily by the liver, muscles, kidneys and germ cells, and at least 2g of Myo-inositol is synthesised daily by a single kidney, so the body's need for inositol is very high.
In addition to supporting hormone signalling in the body, inositol is used to synthesise glucuronic acid, an organic acid that is used to support detoxification of the liver and kidneys.
