Product Description
Product Introduction of Herbal Extract Powder
Artemisinin Extract Powder is the most effective drug for the treatment of malaria resistance. Artemisinin-based combination therapy is also the most effective and important method for the treatment of malaria. However, with the deepening of research in recent years, artemisinin has been increasingly discovered and applied in other studies, such as anti-tumor, treatment of pulmonary hypertension, anti-diabetes, embryonic toxicity, anti-fungal, immunomodulatory, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-pulmonary fibrosis, anti-bacterial, cardiovascular and other pharmacological effects
Function of Herbal Extract Powder
Malaria is an insect-borne disease, caused by the bite of a Plasmodium-infected insect, which can lead to swelling of the liver and spleen and anaemia. Artemisinin is responsible for the treatment of malaria to a certain extent. The peroxide bond in the structure of it is oxidising and is an essential group for the fight against malaria.
The mechanism of action is that the free radicals produced by it in the body bind to malarial proteins and alter the cell membrane structure of the malaria parasite. The free radicals, when bound to malaria proteins, cause the mitochondrial bilayer to distend and eventually detach, leading to damage to the cell structure and function of the malaria parasite, as well as to the chromatin in the nucleus. On the other hand, amino acids are the basic substances that make up proteins, following the action of it. The uptake of isoleucine by the malaria parasite is reduced, resulting in the blocking of the synthesis of proteins in the parasite.
Artemisia annua not only kills pathogenic worms, but also has anti-schistosomal effects, treatment of toxoplasma infections, anti-Pneumocystis carinii effects and anti-coccidial effects. Clinical trials have proven that it and its derivatives have not been found to have particularly pronounced side effects in the treatment of malaria.
