The herb Hydrocotyle Asiatica has many other names including Gotu Kola, Indian Pennywort, Marsh Penny and Brahmi, which is a small and creeping plant with orbicular, frilly leaves that grow wild in the southern United States and in the moist, warm regions of India, Madagascar, Southeast Asia and Sri Lanka. Hydrocotyle Asiatica is named Indian Fine Leaf Grass for the size of its leaves, which are approximately the size of an old English penny.
