Product Description
Product Introduction
Heme chloride binds to hemoglobin and porphyrins in myoglobin and encephalin. It is absorbed directly by intestinal epithelial cells in the form of iron porphyrins. It is generally not affected by phytic acid and VC inhibitors or promoters. What affects absorption of these two types of iron is the amount of iron stored in the body.
Heme chloride is divided into heme iron and non-heme iron. Heme iron is easily absorbed by the human body and is mainly found in animal red meat, liver and blood, while non-heme iron is mainly found in plant food and is not easily absorbed by the human body.

Funcation
1. Anti-anemia effect
Heme chloride has a good effect on promoting bone marrow hematopoiesis and treating hemolytic and hemorrhagic anemia in animals, so it is the most ideal anti-anemia drug known to mankind. It was found that increasing the intake of heme iron (6.0mg/d) can obviously improve the iron nutritional status of the body and effectively prevent and cure iron and iron anemia. In the experimental group, the number of red blood cells increased after iron supplementation, indicating that the body's hematopoietic function is recovering.
2.Biological function
Heme chloride maintains various physiological functions of iron:
1) it participates in oxygen transport, exchange and tissue respiration in the body;
2) It is related to red blood cell formation and maturation. It is carried out in young red blood cells in bone marrow hematopoietic tissue, and binds with porphyrin to form normohaemoglobin, which then synthesizes hemoglobin with globin;
3) As a component of ferric enzymes, iron plays an important role. For example, as a component of catalase, iron plays an important role in removing hydrogen peroxide in the body and improving health;
4) Iron is also involved in other important functions in the body, such as catalyzing the conversion of beta-carotene to vitamin A, promoting the production of antibodies in the body, detoxification of drugs in the liver, and lipid transport in the blood.
Application
1. Biochemical reagents
Heme chloride is an important reagent in analytical chemistry and biochemical studies. Analytical chemistry is used to identify copper.
2. Health care
Heme chloride is the main raw material for the preparation of anticancer specific drugs, hematoporphyrin derivatives, and can also be used in the treatment of lead poisoning in combination with EDTA (ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid). Heme iron is also the raw material for the preparation of liver function improvement agent protoporphyrin disodium salt and laser hematoporphyrin for cancer treatment. In the pharmaceutical industry, heme iron is the precursor for the preparation of bilirubin, and bilirubin is an important raw material for the preparation of artificial bezoar. Heme iron is clinically used as an iron supplement to treat anemia caused by iron deficiency.
3. Food industry
Heme chloride can replace nitrite and synthetic pigment in meat products. The most common heme iron-fortified foods on the Japanese market are low-calorie candies and low-calorie biscuits. The former has 0.7mg of iron per candy, while the latter has 0.5mg of iron per cookie. Menstruating women take 2 ~ 3 pills a day to meet the iron deficiency. Adding 100 to 200mg of heme iron to 100g of noodles and 400mg of heme iron to 100g of hamburger will not affect the taste of the product. In addition, heme iron can be used in convenient soups, jellies, kelp products, dairy products and beverages. In addition to the nutritional fortifier, heme iron can also be added to ham, enema and other foods as a color agent. Heme can make meat products produce attractive bright red, increase the appearance of beauty of meat products, so in the food industry, heme can replace nitrite and synthetic pigments.
