Product introduction of Vitamin K2 (MK-4)
Vitamin K2 is a naturally occurring vitamin that contains the basic structure of menthoquinone and has anti-bleeding effects. It is yellow crystal or oily liquid at room temperature, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents and vegetable oil, heat resistant, but easily destroyed by light.It can promote the synthesis of prothrombin in liver and regulate the synthesis of coagulation factors ⅶ, ⅸ, ⅹ, thus accelerating blood coagulation.For one thing, almost all mammals, including humans, can make mK-4 on their own. Second, mK-4 is also the main form of vitamin K stored in organs other than the liver. Remarkably, 97 percent of vitamin K in the human brain comes from MK-4. This suggests that the neurological benefits of vitamin K may only be provided by MK-4.

Function of Vitamin K2 (MK-4)
1. Anti-osteoporosis.Activated by vitamin K2, stromal osteocalcin forms calcium-binding sites on the protein, and these activated calcium-binding sites follow calcium binding into the bone.Therefore, vitamin K2 has special significance for calcium fixation in bone and osteoporosis.
2. Improve dental health. One of the main regulatory proteins for dental health is osteocalcin, a protein critical for bone metabolism that can be activated by vitamin K2. Dentin is the calcified tissue beneath the enamel of a tooth, and osteocalcin can trigger mechanisms that stimulate the growth of new dentin.
