Tretinoin acne is a metabolic intermediate product of vitamin A in the body, which mainly affects bone growth and promotes the proliferation, differentiation, and keratinization of epithelial cells. It is used to treat acne vulgaris, psoriasis, ichthyosis, lichen planus, pityriasis red, keratosis follicularis, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.

Application

Tretinoin acne is used for the treatment of acne vulgaris, especially blackhead skin lesions, senile, solar or drug-induced skin atrophy, ichthyosis and various keratosis abnormalities, hyperpigmented skin diseases, and psoriasis.

Tretinoin acne works partly by keeping the skin pores clean. One type of tretinoin cream is used to treat fine lines, dark spots or rough facial skin caused by damaging sunlight. It works by brightening the skin, replacing older skin with newer skin, and slowing down the way the body removes skin cells that may be damaged by the sun.
