Introduction of Product

L-cysteine is an amino acid commonly found in living organisms. It is one of the α-amino acids containing sulfur (defined as amino acids do not contain sulfur in high school chemistry optional 5). Function and Application of Product

L-Cysteine be used in medicine, cosmetics, biochemical research and other aspects. The synthetic methods

1. The cystine was dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid by tin reduction method, then filtered. The filtrate was added to tin particles and reflux for 2h. The reducing solution was diluted with water, the remaining tin particles were removed, and hydrogen sulfide was added to saturate it. The filter residue was washed with a small amount of water. The washing and filtrate were combined, concentrated under pressure, cooled and crystallized, and then filtered and dried to obtain L-cysteine hydrochloride.

2. Electrolytic reduction method: add distilled water, hydrochloric acid and cystine into the electrolytic cell, stir to dissolve, and maintain electrolysis at below 50℃ to the end point. The resulting electrolyte was subjected to hydrogen sulfide for several hours and then filtered. The filtrate was decolorized with activated carbon, concentrated under pressure after filtration, crystallized after cooling, filtered and dried to obtain L-cysteine hydrochloride.

3. Synthesis: It can be hydrolyzed with hydrochloric acid by protein (such as human hair), then treated with copper oxide and decomposed with hydrogen sulfide. It can also be obtained by degradation of cystine.
