Introduction of Product

The molecular of Arginine is C6H14N4O2, and it is an amino acid compound. It participates in the ornithine cycle in the human body, promotes the formation of urea, and makes the ammonia produced in the human body transform into non-toxic urea through the ornithine cycle, which is excreted from the urine, thus reducing the blood ammonia concentration. High concentration of hydrogen ions helps to correct the acid-base balance when hepatic encephalopathy. Together with histidine and lysine are basic amino acids

Function of Product

1. Arginine be used for biochemical research, all kinds of liver coma and viral liver glutamic-pyruvic transaminase abnormality.

2. As a nutritional supplement and flavoring agent. Heat reaction with sugar (amino-carbonyl reaction) to obtain special flavor substances. Flavors for food that are permitted under GB 2760-2001.

3. Arginine is an essential amino acid for the growth and development of infants and young children. It acts as an intermediate metabolite in the ornithine cycle and causes ammonia to be converted to urea, thereby reducing blood ammonia levels. It is also the main component of sperm protein, has the role of promoting sperm production and providing sperm movement energy. In addition, intravenous injection of arginine can stimulate the pituitary to release growth hormone, which can be used for pituitary function test.

4. Arginine is an essential amino acid in the human body, which catalyzes the ornithine cycle and promotes the formation of urea so that ammonia in the human body becomes non-toxic urea. It is the substrate of endogenous synthesis of nitric oxide which is produced under the catalysis of synthase and plays a physiological effect. This biochemical process is called the nitric oxide pathway. Nitric oxide, as an intercellular messenger and neurotransmitter, plays an important role in cardiovascular system, central nervous system and peripheral transmission.

Application for Clinical

Adaptation disease

Arginine is suitable for liver coma with increased blood ammonia, especially for patients with alkalosis. Used to assist in the measurement of pituitary function. Oral use for infertility in men due to insufficient semen production and sperm deficiency. Can also be used for infants and young children to supplement arginine.

Adverse reactions

1. The chloride ion content in the hydrochloride (10% solution) of this drug is 47.5mmol/100mL, which can cause hyperchloroacidemia, and acidosis is more likely to occur in patients with reduced renal function or when used in large doses.
2. Allergic reactions may occur in a few patients.
3. Too fast intravenous drip can cause salivation, facial flushing and vomiting.
4. Arginine has been reported that hyperkalemia may be caused by the use of this product in patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency or diabetes.
5. Intravenous infusion of this product can cause numbness of limbs, headache, nausea, vomiting and local phlebitis. Intravenous administration of large dose of arginine can dilate peripheral blood vessels and cause hypotension.
